Our shear log method was calibrated in the Gulf of Mexico, then applied with success to wells in Alaska, Indonesia, Australia, Colombia, and South Korea. The calculated (TS-LRNH) curve resembles the recorded (DTSM), except that the recorded is unstable where hole conditions are bad.
