Log Quality

The quality of each log varies with depth for many reasons, one of the most important being the length of time between drilling and logging. The lowest portion of each logging run is the highest quality; the zone immediately below is the top of the next logging run, and is the lowest quality.

Depth 4425 on the example log shows one such dramatic change in log quality. Our analysts do not treat each sample the same, like most computerized methods do.
