Log Calibration

Sometimes a logging run will not be calibrated correctly to those above and below. All the values will be offset by roughly a constant amount from what should have been recorded. Our method illuminates these cases, by noticing that the recorded curve differs from the calculated curve, consistently over the interval of the logging run.

In this example, the recorded density log (RHOB) is greater by 0.12 g/cc than the calculated density curve (D-SYNTC), while agreeing above and below.
